PECULIARITIES OF THE USE OF THE EDUCATIONAL AND METHODOLOGICAL COMPLEX OF THE TNMU MEDICAL BIOLOGY DEPARTMENT DURING THE TEACHING OF THE SELECTIVE COURSE “MODERN ASPECTS OF MEDICAL PARASITOLOGY”

Abstract. The article considers the methodological aspects of the organization of teaching at the Medical Biology Department the selective course “Modern Aspects of Medical Parasitology” to first-year students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Nursing specialty 223 Nursing, which focus on improving the quality of assimilation of educational material.
The educational and methodical complex for studying the discipline “Modern Aspects of Medical Parasitology”, which is developed on the basis of normative documents of the educational program “Nursing”, is described and analyzed.
The possibilities of improving and applying educational methods in the process of acquiring knowledge, skills and practical skills by future specialists are demonstrated.
The study found that the training of future nurses in higher education medical institutions should contribute to the reform and modernization of the system of higher nursing education. Since the quality of education is determined by educational standards, including a complex of professionalism, modern technical means of education, pedagogical technologies and quality of education. The specialist's readiness for professional activity is based on the ability to work independently and is defined as one of the main criteria.
The use of methodological materials of the Medical Biology Department allows not only to improve the cognitive activity of students in solving educational problems, but also to improve the quality of professional orientation in combination with an individual approach to learning. The level of organization of the educational process among students depends on the interest to the selective course, the level of cognitive activity and the formation of skills and abilities, as well as the possibilities of professional activity.
