YOUTH VALUE SYSTEM IN THE CONTEXT OF THE PERSONAL PARADIGM

Abstract

The incredible dynamics that were not typical of recent decades nowadays are the peculiarity of the development of modern society. Military events, the struggle for democratic values, the pandemic, multicultural environment inherent in modern higher education affected the lives of different age groups. We are especially interested in young people studying at medical universities. This is due to the importance of improving the level of medical services, the growing significance of the personal factor, the need to monitor changes in the system of value orientations. Many studies within this area have been published in recent years. At the same time, the latent nature of the problem, the uncertainty of key term definitions, insufficient consideration of the peculiarities of some specialties, disregard for the features of girls’ and boys’world outlook are the causes of our concern, since all these circumstances do not let to improve the quality of the educational process managementand evaluate the effectiveness of measures. This applies to both material and spiritual values. Their interaction takes place in the process of personal development as spirituality and morality determine both value orientations and material needs hierarchy.
