The research was based on the study of materials that the authors got acquainted with during the scientific internship “Academic Integrity”, organized by the Polish-Ukrainian Foundation “Institute of International Academic and Scientific Cooperation” and from open sources of information and personal experience. The article presents the basic principles, rules and criteria in the field of “Academic Integrity”, which, in our opinion, will allow to obtain quality student education, which should be based on higher requirements and standards of higher education. It is their suggestions that will allow us, scientific and pedagogical workers, to understand the problem from the point of view of the student. In addition, it will allow the teacher to build a close relationship with higher education students, constantly focus on the needs of the student, which, in our opinion, will have a positive impact on the overall development of the discipline.
