Abstract

While solving topical issues of teaching methods, it is important to clearly define the main priorities, as there is a threat of chaotic accumulation of information. Consequently, it will complicate the solution of the main tasks. The article analyzes the features of the study of academic writing in medical universities, summarizes perspective areas for improving pre-vocational training of students, improving the system of scientific and methodological support of the educational process. Academic writing is seen as a process of creating and publishing a scientific text. It is emphasized that the creation of a scientific text involves first of all the choice of research topic, proof of relevance, novelty, justification of the significance of the results, the appropriate structure and proper methods. Publication of the results involves the rational use of modern information technology, as well as direct acquaintance of the scientific community with new facts. It has been also singles out the perspective forms and methods of educational process.
