Abstract

The article presents a comparative analysis of the expert assessment of American researchers in the field of medical education in order to consider the possibility of application of the American experience in the organization of doctors’ professional training in the USA. The peculiarities of expert assessment as a scientific method are analyzed. The necessity of using this method to evaluate the possibility of application of the USA experience in the organization of professional training of doctors is substantiated. The study reveals that all American experts focused on the high professionalism and responsibility of teachers, the decisive role of the level of medical education, integration of teaching and research, theory and clinical practice, the importance of the residency phase, simulation training and powerful funding of the field of medicine.
