Abstract

The article substantiates and analyzes the structure of the informational and educational web-environment of the clinical department of the higher medical educational institution, which includes the site of the clinical department (independent or as a subdomain of the educational institution site), subdomains of the site of the department (institution) with the learning management system of education (Moodle) and the electronic database of clinical cases (training and examination modes), webinar room (software installed on a dedicated server or rental server), channel department on YouTube, open group on Facebook (students, domestic and international cooperation), and closed groups on Facebook (groups on target audiences – advanced training courses for postgraduate medical education, a group for the training of medical teachers of the department, etc.).

Using by clinical departments of medical schools of modern information-educational web-technologies, information-educational web-based learning environment in educational process in addition to traditional forms will improve the quality of education and provides a number of benefits for continuous professional development and advanced training of specialists, which, as a consequence, will improve the quality of health care delivery to the population.
