Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.-
Authors who submit a manuscript paper to the journal “Medical education” should confirm its compliance with all established requirements specified above. In the case of non-compliance of submitted items the editorial board will return materials to the authors for correcting:
1. This article was not previously published and sent the editors of other journals (or necessary explanations are given in the comments for editor).
2. File is the *.doc or *.rtf. document.
3. Internet links in the text come amid full correct URLs.
4. The text is typed with Times New Roman font 14 pt and 1,5 lines; author’s emphasis are typed in italics rather than underlining (everywhere except URL addresses); all illustrations, charts and tables are placed directly in the text where they should be on the content (not the end of the document).
5. The text conforms to the style and bibliography set out in the Guidelines for Authors section “About us”.
6. If the material is submitted to one of reviewed sections of the journal, the submission instructions according to Guarantees blind review were carried.
Copyright Notice
Authors who submit manuscript for publication in the journal “Medical Education” agree with the following terms:
- Authors reserve the right to authorship of their works and pass the right for first publication to the journal subject to Creative Commons Attribution License conditions, that allows third party to share published work with reference to authors of original work and first publication in this journal.
- Authors have right to draw up an agreement for nonexclusive distribution of the work as it was published by this journal (e.g. to place the article in the digital warehouse of institution or to publish it as the part of monography), upon condition that reference to first publication of the article in this journal will be saved.
Policy of the journal allows and encourage placing the manuscripts of the articles in the Internet (e.g. in the warehouse of institutions or on the personal web-sites) by authors before submitting this manuscript as well as during its editing, whereas it gives rise to productive scholarly discussion and positively affects the efficiency and dynamics of citing published article (ref. The Effect of Open Access).
Privacy Statement
Names and e-mails of “Medical Education” journal web-site users will be used exclusively for nonpublic technical tasks of the journal; they will not be shared or given to third persons.
