Medical Education is a peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal that publishes original research articles and review papers in the field of professional medical education. The journal focuses on the theory and methodology of teaching and learning in medical and pharmaceutical disciplines, the organisation of scientific and pedagogical research in professional medical education, the management of educational processes in medical education institutions, and the monitoring and evaluation of the quality of professional medical education. The journal also addresses current challenges in professional medical education and promotes research and innovation aimed at improving educational practices in the training of healthcare professionals. The purpose of the journal “Medical Education” is to present the results of scientific research, different perspectives on global and current scientific problems, analysis of future prospects, and provide a platform for cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of professional medical education. The journal is included in the “B” category of the List of professional scientific editions of Ukraine, which are authorized to publish dissertation research results intended for obtaining a scientific degree of Doctor of Sciences, Candidate of Sciences, or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the field of educational sciences, specialties 011, 015, 016 (Appendix 4 to Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 1643, dated December 28, 2019, On the Approval of Decisions of the Attestation Board of the Ministry Regarding the Activities of Specialized Academic Councils, dated December 16, 2019).
