Abstract

The aim of the work – to analyze the main factors influencing the organization of the educational process for pharmacists-interns at the Department of Pharmacy in Research Institute of Postgraduate Education of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University.

The main body. The Department of Pharmacy at the Educational and Research Institute of Postgraduate Education of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University is the base for training and internship of pharmacists to independent and successful work in the pharmaceutical industry, equipped with audiences, scientific laboratory and appropriate technical means: computers, video systems, projector, which are used for active teaching methods.

A team of highly skilled teachers, with practical experience, tracks important trends in domestic and world pharmacies, introduce relevant changes in work programs and communicates this up-to-date information to interns.

The development of teaching materials is consistent with the concept that a pharmacist can improve the responsible use of medicines and, accordingly, need to develop such skills to achieve this goal, which is one of the recommendations of the FIP.

While studying in an internship, young professionals learn both basic pharmaceutical sciences and the basics of drug use in the context of pharmaceutical care. After completing the internship program, pharmacists are subject to certification to determine the level of knowledge and practical skills.

Conclusion. The training of professional personnel and pharmacists requires the use of all available national resources and recommendations of the International Pharmaceutical Federation in accordance with international standards and national interests, which is guided by the team of the Department of Pharmacy of Research Institute of Postgraduate Education of the Ternopil State Medical University.
