ACTUAL PROBLEMS OF THE THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL STUDY OF MEDICAL STUDENTS AT THE STUDY OF INTERNAL MEDICINE CYCLE AT THE 6TH COURSE

The aim of the work – to raise the level of theoretical and practical preparation of the 6th year students in the discipline of Internal Medicine by applying interdisciplinary integration, attracting students to practical and independent work with patients.
The main body. The article presents current problems of theoretical and practical training of students in the study of Internal Medicine cycle by students of the 6th year of study. The main task of the professional direction of medical students at this stage is the formation of the ability to independently and effectively use knowledge in professional activities. When planning practical exercises and creating guidelines for students of the 6th year, attention is paid to theoretical disciplines, in particular pathological physiology, through interdisciplinary integration. After all, the theoretical-practical approach to the training of pathophysiology contributes to the formation of clinical thinking of future doctors, which in turn is improved in clinical departments, in particular, on Internal Medicine. One of the important stages in teaching students is independent work, which allows to optimally use the individual opportunities of students, contributes to the deepening of knowledge, skills, develops practical skills, clinical thinking, forms responsibility, perseverance, organization, prompts the need for constant replenishment and introduction of knowledge.
Conclusions. Therefore, the actual problems of theoretical and practical training of medical students in the study of Internal Medicine cycle in the 6th course, for the solve of which it is necessary to apply both integration with theoretical disciplines, and direct work with the patient, when independent attempts to solve the clinical situation in real conditions form the clinical thinking, responsibility, interest and understanding of the need for constant replenishment of knowledge and skills.
