ORGANIZATION OF BUSINESS SIMULATION IN PRACTICAL CLASSES IN MEDICAL BIOLOGY

The introduction of modern technologies allows the successful combination of theoretical and practical elements in the educational process, provides a transition from the traditional passive learning aimed at knowledge accumulation to students’ motivated use of the acquired knowledge and skills in the professional activities.
The business simulation scenario is used in practical class in medical parasitology. The topic of the class is “Laboratory diagnosis of helminthes”. The group is divided into 5 teams. Each team consists of three students and receives one microslide. At the first stage the task lies in helminth’s diagnostics, with its eggs presented on the microslide.
Thus, the use of business simulation as a form of learning allows students to develop the skills necessany for professional doctor’s activity.
