The ways of continuing professional development optimization in conditions of the Ukrainian health care system reforming

In this article we analyzed the share of each type of the doctors’ activities in the period between preparation for professional certification cycles. Also, we made the suggestions for improving the system of doctor's certification and continuing professional development optimization.
We emphasized the strengthening role of distance learning, the combining practice with scientific work, especially among general practitioners and physicians.
In the article we proved the practicability of receiving information by using computer technology and the inclusion of this item in a standardized evaluation system of doctor’s professional competence.
