Abstract

Abstract. The article is devoted to the issues of organization and formation of individual educational trajectory of applicants of a medical institution of higher education on the example of teaching the selective educational component “Immunoprophylaxis: practice of communication and administration”. Today it has already been determined that the applicant has the right to choose an educational component, which not only forms his skills, but also ideas and worldview knowledge. It is substantiated that the individual educational trajectory of the applicant in this case is oriented towards obtaining knowledge of medical students regarding the effectiveness and safety of vaccination of children and adults, creating conditions for self-expression during the study of the material, the student’s ability to search and assimilate new knowledge, analyze problems, achieve a certain level of competence in the ability to convey objective information to the population regarding the effectiveness of preventive vaccinations. It is proved that the curriculum of the selective educational component should create a general algorithm of actions of the applicant, at the same time provide for personal goals and tasks in mastering the discipline, adding more freedom for the self-development of the specialist. During the study, it was shown that the way to achieve the goals and results that the individual educational trajectory of the applicant forms was a survey of students, which was conducted using questionnaires developed on the basis of UNICEF recommendations “Study of knowledge, attitudes and practices of immunization”. After analyzing the results of the survey, the attitude of applicants to the effectiveness of preventive vaccinations, their negative attitude to the procedures, information hunger on topical issues of vaccinology were revealed, which served as the introduction into the educational process of a selective discipline on the issues of in-depth study of preventive vaccinations.
