SOME ASPECTS OF DISTANCE LEARNING IN A MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

Abstract. The European integration of our country affects all spheres of society. In particular, it involves Ukraine's entry into the international scientific and educational space. Of course, this makes it necessary to modernize the education system in accordance with current requirements. The rapid progress of pedagogical and medical science leads to the search for and implementation of new effective technologies in the system of knowledge acquisition. Implementation of the medical education system in modern conditions, opportunities for its reform, problems caused by the need for higher level of training of medical graduates require new and more effective approaches to the organization and adjustment of the educational process. The introduction of innovative technologies with elements of interactivity is intended to ensure high-quality training of a specialist doctor. At the same time, for a number of objective reasons, the educational process has had its own peculiarities in recent years. The educational system has introduced distance learning with its advantages and disadvantages. Some teachers, especially those of the older generation, found it very difficult to adapt and get used to the new features of the educational process. This creates a contradiction, because the ultimate task of a teacher remains the same: to create optimal conditions for the comprehensive development of a medical student and his/her formation as a highly qualified specialist.
