Abstract. This article deals with the simulation training as a type of education which gives an opportunity for interns otolaryngologists to acquire practical skills at full-time and extramural cycles of education, using simulation principles in medicine which present clinical situations according to topic and purpose of lesson. Such method allows to improve learning of educational material which increases the professionalism of doctors. In Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University and clinical base Medical center "LORIMED" LLC Ternopil, Ukraine we use exactly this method of studying. Simulation form of training is the most accessible and informative for moderating scenarios in providing medical aid for patients with ENT diseases. This method itself allows reflecting clinical situation as naturally as possible and provides opportunities to acquire theoretical and practical skills. In order to increase interest of interns in educational process scientific literature including foreign ones which represented in library, various phantoms, models, dummies, simulators, virtual simulators and other technical training tools, as well as access to modern technologies which are applied in medicine are used. It is also important to form an educational workplace of an otorhinolaryngologist, where interns have the opportunity to use theoretical knowledge and reproduce previously developed practical skills on phantoms under the supervision of a teacher on each other, as well as on patients after their personal agreement. Thus, simulation training methods are relevant in the study of otorhinolaryngology by interns and can facilitate the integration of theoretical knowledge into medical practice.
