A teacher of medical university must constantly analyze, assess and adjust himself in response to changes in pedagogical activity and in professional-pedagogical environment.
Todayʼs medical universities must also develop educational process grounding on modern and innovative educational technologies along with traditional forms. Pedagogical staff adapts to the variable modern medical education, trains medical students with the help of computer technologies as well. Within the educational environment of the university, as well as beyond it, occur an opportunity to implement various forms of computer interaction between teachers and students. Computer technologies are currently used during study of all subjects (theoretical and clinical) in modern medical universities of the world. The determined software is critically valuable for initial, ongoing and continuing education of medical students. Educational university platforms provide access to electronic online study, encourage to absorb new information and are equipped with all required tools for the preparation and usage by students, such as appropriate educational materials, that are necessary for effective studying. Medical students, in there turn, constantly apply to reliable sources of Internet resources in order to get additional material, to expand their knowledge and to improve their practice. Active online education was launched in all countries of the world when the COVID-19 pandemic began, due to that opportunity the ongoing medical education could continue. Unfortunately, after the pandemic, the implementation of digital formats of medical students education in Ukraine did not stop because of Russian invasion.
Despite of the fact that online education has massive positive impacts, it cannot completely replace traditional classroom education. This is the reason why Ukrainian teachers have to improve their knowledge of digital technologies for online study henceforward.
