Abstract

Abstract. The quality of education for the training of medical workers plays an extremely important role. Data on the effectiveness of the provision of educational services in medical higher education institutions in quarantine conditions are quite limited, however, the growing needs for medical workers due to the epidemic and military operations forced medical educational institutions to adapt to the existing conditions. The aim of the study – to determine the degree of completeness of information support for students of the medical faculty in microbiology, virology and immunology, activity regarding the use of various sources of information and forms of providing educational services for this category of applicants of higher medical education, the influence of the distance learning format on the quality of learning the material. The analysis of information resources on the issue of distance learning in the medical field was carried out, using the questionnaire method, information was collected and processed regarding the use of the electronic database of the department for preparing students for classes, the frequency of watching video lectures, the provision of textbooks and manuals for the discipline, the methods of conducting practical classes and the quality of training to the “Krok-1” licensing exam. As a result of the research, it was found that approximately half of the students (48.15 %) note a decrease in the quality of the provision of educational services, 82.22 %  of the respondents sometimes used video lectures to prepare for practical classes, 65.19 % of the respondents were fully satisfied with the volume and filling materials for preparation, 81.48 % of students use paper media to prepare for classes (textbooks, manuals).

Employees of the department of microbiology, virology and immunology, thanks to the obtained results, will improve and partially change the plans for conducting practical classes and lectures, taking into account the opinion of students of higher education, to improve the quality of the educational process.
