Abstract

Abstract. In modern conditions of the active implementation of distance learning, the issue of monitoring and evaluating the results of the educational process is an urgent methodological and theoretical problem. It is especially important during the quarantine restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in the world, as well as due to the introduction of a military state in Ukraine in February 2022.

Pharmaceutical Botany belongs to the basic (fundamental) disciplines of training for master’s level higher education applicants in specialty 226 “Pharmacy, industrial pharmacy”. It is included in the list of disciplines of the Licensing Integrated Examination “Krok 1. Pharmacy”. It is studied by the students of the second course in the I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University. We believe that the key to the effective acquisition of knowledge on Pharmaceutical Botany and successful completion of the “Krok 1. Pharmacy” exam is a detailed analysis of the results of their current and concluding scores. This will make it possible to take the necessary measures in time to prevent the risk of not passing this mandatory component of the Licensing Integrated Examination at the end of the third course. Under the conditions of the introduction of distance learning in March 2020, the lecturers of the Department of Pharmacognosy with Medical Botany of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University are constantly analyzing both the current success in this discipline and the results of the pre-Krok examination and session (test part of the exam and oral interview). We are gradually introducing new forms and methods of learning and knowledge control, improving algorithms for compiling practical skills and skills, etc. This approach to teaching an academic discipline will make it possible to improve the level of student’s knowledge, which in the future will become a reliable prerequisite for their successful mastering of professional disciplines and further practical activities.
