Abstract

The article analyzes modern aspects of the telecommunication technologies implemented in training forensic medicine at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University in online education conditions. The structure of a practical class in “one day” format is presented. Also the method of conducting the practical part of the class, seminar and monitoring students’ knowledge in online mode is detailed. The significance of obtaining knowledge of forensic medicine for the future activity of a doctor is highlighted; the need to create an individual department of forensic medicine and medical law at the university is explained. The characteristics and the methods of distance teaching of forensic medicine using the educational platform Teams are analyzed in detail. The importance of the Moodle distance education system as an operative Web-resource both for high-quality preparation for classes and for assessment of students’ knowledge is emphasized. Promising directions of distance learning of forensic medicine in online mode are separatelydiscussed.
