Abstract

Development of new informal educational methods with involvement of modern digital, educational and simulation technologies is a very important issue in higher medical education. The purpose of this study was to develop and investigate the effectiveness of the implementation of new informal educational methods for training of health professionals and students in the Department of Emergency Medicine. The staff of the department has developed a number of master classes in various areas of emergency medicine. Analysis of the effectiveness of the implementation of the new forms of education showed that students prefer master classes in their educational activities because they have a clear practical orientation and provide real knowledge about providing of medical care in case of real conditions and emergencies. The use of new informal educational options involving modern informational technology, simulations, mannequins and professional teachers with real clinical experience could   significantly increase the level of training of students and trainees in medical universities and ensure the high qualityof medical care in future.
