Abstract

The implementation of the educational process under the conditions of quarantine measures during the global coronavirus epidemic, which began in 2020, highlighted the need to invent and implement new tools and methods of organizing and implementing the educational process. First of all, this applies to the teaching of theoretical disciplines, where distance learning significantly narrows the field of opportunities for practical skills, as access to biological material, models, tools is usually not possible or ineffective even at the current level of information and communication technologies. Without diminishing the importance of efforts in solving the problem of digitalization of educational material and the way it is presented and mastered, we should not forget the more traditional tools that can under certain conditions optimize the results of the educational process. Therefore, the aim of this work was to outline the benefits of developing and implementing workbooks on the subject of “Human Anatomyˮ as a means of optimizing the results of educational processes. Employees of the department developed workbooks for each section of the subject. The structure of the workbook gave students the opportunity to clearly and concisely express their views, to consolidate the theoretical knowledge on situational cases, to perform the submitted tasks with minimal time spent learning. The use of workbooks as a tool for methodological support of independent work of students in distance learning allowed to optimize learning outcomes (strengthening the direction and structure of independent work, additional visualization, improving tools to control the formation of basic practical skills), taking into account work at the remote mode.
