MODELLING THE PROCESS OF FUTURE MEDICAL TEACHER TRAINING IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION

Abstract

The relevance of the research is conditioned to significant changes of medical higher education institutions (HEI) functionality in preparation of new professional generation. The ability to conceptually comprehend the objective connections between the elements, components, stages of the process of training of future teachers of medical HEI allows the process of modelling. The purpose of the article: on the basis of scientific ideas to substantiate theoretically the existing approaches to the problems of modelling the professional activities of future medical HEI professionals.

The following methods of scientific and pedagogical research were used: systematic analysis, synthesis and generalization of scientific and pedagogical literature, modelling. Research results: 1) modelling allows to predict the development of pedagogical process, orients teachers to achieve final learning results, ensures mastering and effective use of new technologies, develops a systematic vision of problem solving, is an effective factor in improving the quality of HEI work; 2) the task of modelling for the professional training of the medical teacher is to establish the correspondence between the requirements for teacher training and the actual amount of professional knowledge and skills, the level of the teacher’s competence, in particular provides a description of the reference requirements for the teacher as a specialist: functions that he or she must be able to do at the workplace; tasks that he or she must be able to solve, professional competencies that allow a specialist to perform official duties in a highly professional, creative, innovative way. 3) modelling of teacher professional training involves model building, which is a set of target, motivational, theoretical and methodological, content and technological, reflective and analytical, performance and assessment components, which together create a foundation for the formation of competencies that determine the readiness of future specialists of the medical sphere for professional activity in medical higher education institution.
