EXPERIENCE OF THE SCHOOL OF MEDICINE OF V. N. KARAZIN KHARKIV NATIONAL UNIVERSITY IN THE FIELD OF INTERNATIONALIZATION: FAVORABLE FACTORS AND LIMITATIONS

The relevance of the article is justified by the undeniable impact of internationalization processes on both the efficiency and international competitiveness of universities, as a result of which they become active participants in the global market of educational services.
The main features of educational internationalization at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in the conditions of globalization are defined in the article and the basic accents of internationalization are analyzed. It is noted that the university is actively working on its international image and increasing its attractiveness to foreigners having significant success, as evidenced by the high ranking in international rating systems. The Faculty of Medicine is also gradually joining to the use of information technology and distance education technologies to internationalize higher medical education, which opens up new prospects and opportunities.
The university focuses on academic mobility and creates favorable conditions for its implementation. Participation in international scientific collaborations, conferences, forums, programs of bilateral and multilateral interstate exchange within the framework of international educational and scientific programs are also one of the main internationalization vectors. The article highlights the place of higher education internationalization in the strategic management of the university; the latest internationalization trends are indicated; the positive aspects of higher education internationalization are listed, as well as elements that should be developed in the context of internationalization.
