USING INTERACTIVE METHODS OF STUDY IN TRAINING OF FUTURE PEDIATRICIANS FOR TEAMWORK

The article argues that the obligatory professional characteristic of a qualified and competent pediatrician is possession of skills and abilities to organize effective teamwork. Pediatrician need to have critical, creative thinking, consider alternative approaches to solving complex medical problems, perform comprehensive analysis and predict the consequences of decisions, resolve possible conflict situations, use the experience gained while studying in high school. Formation of such experience becomes possible using interactive forms and methods of study with modeling of teamwork in real time in the process of training of future pediatricians, students’ participation in business games, discussions, solving quasi-professional situational problems etc.
Theoretical analysis of scientific works gave an opportunity to generalize different directions of professional activities and specifics of training of future pediatricians to work in the specialty. It was established that researchers considered the practical aspects of vocational training of future pediatricians in Ukraine and in the world. The essence of teamwork, which provides scientific substantiation of the process of teambuilding, was described on the basis of theoretical analysis of scientific literary sources.
It was generalized that scientists propose using of simulation technologies in vocational training of future pediatricians, organizing classes for students in specially created phantom simulation classes, and also the following interactive methods: ‘‘Brainstorming’’, ‘‘Mosaic of Problems’’, ‘‘True and False Statements’’, ‘‘Decision Tree’’, ‘‘Six Hats of Thinking’’, etc. The result of using of interactive methods was the acquisition by future pediatricians of the experience of team building through the development of formal and informal atmosphere, the acquisition by students of skills of constructive interpersonal interaction in the team; practice skills of effective solution of professional problems in a team; creating a resource of positive emotions for effective work and focus on the best solution to professional tasks, active and interested discussion of important professional problems, etc.
