ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF DISTANCE LEARNING IN GENERAL AND IN THE STUDY OF THE DISCIPLINE “HISTOLOGY, CYTOLOGY AND EMBRYOLOGY”

Modern realities of life require extensive use of distance learning in Ukrainian universities, which has its advantages and disadvantages. The article describes the peculiarities of teaching the discipline “Histology, Cytology and Embryology” in the quarantine time. Many years of experience in the use of the latest innovative technologies at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University contributed to the effective organization of distance learning. The use of a personal approach to each student contributed to a better mastering of the study material. When completing individual tasks, students used the materials of SDE Moodle TNMU, recommended by the teacher available online sources, printed literature, which allowed them to get on deep knowledge.
