Abstract

The aim of the study is to analyze orthopedic and trauma internship doctors training in the simulation training center, to consider new approaches to simulation technologies usage and to identify prospects for further implementation of acquired practical skills into their daily work.

The main body. Studying surgical pathology by internship doctors in simulation training center is based on the basic principles of the educational process and carried out in stages: lectures delivery, individual practical skills training, processing and analysis of internship doctors’ own activity results and working efficiency, introspection and feedback elements. The ability to perform surgical treatment stages and practical skills required number of times to complete their testing, creation of equal conditions for all internship doctors and individual approach to learning enables better internship doctors’ training for independent operations.

Conclusion. Implementation of simulation training technologies within orthopedic and trauma internship doctors education facilitate better assimilation of theoretical material, empowers gaining necessary practical work experience, to evaluate their professional knowledge, communication and special skills objectively.
