Анотація: Симуляційне навчання в медицині є прогресивним кроком вперед у процесі підготовки кваліфікованих медичних кадрів. Розвиток даного прикладного напрямку медичної освіти триває з 18 століття, коли були вперше розроблені засоби для симуляції в освіті. Дана стаття описує ключові аспекти становлення симуляційних методів навчання, їх поступовий розвиток, теперішній стан та діяльність на прикладі одного з перших та на даний час найбільш провідних центрів медичної симуляції, що розташований на базі медичної школи Гарварду.
