Corrections and Retractions

The basis for retracting articles (retraction) is the guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). According to these guidelines, misconduct in research and non-research publications includes: fabricated data; falsification of data, including fraudulent manipulation of images; intentional failure to disclose a conflict of interest; and plagiarism.

If any form of poor scientific practice is confirmed after publication, the article is considered retracted. In this case, the editorial board will follow COPE’s guidelines for retracting publications (https://publicationethics.org/retraction-guidelines)

The journal’s Editorial Board reviews the findings of the Editorial Committee and makes the final decision regarding retraction (withdrawal of the article) and publishes a retraction notice explaining the reasons for it.

The editorial board reserves the right to check submitted manuscripts for plagiarism (the expression of scientific ideas, research results, or publication texts without proper citation of the source).
