THE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT OF THE MEDICAL COLLEGE AS A FACTOR OF PROFESSIONAL GROWTH AND SELF-FULFILLMENT OF FUTURE NURSING SPECIALISTS

Abstract

Introduction. The modern model of nursing reflects numerous changes in the organization, philosophy, structure and tasks of nursing. Posing the problem of professional growth of future nursing specialists in the educational environment of a medical college is fully justified, since the World Health Organization considers nursing staff as a real potential to meet the needs of the population in affordable, and most importantly, quality medical care.

The aim of the study – to reveal the potential of the educational environment of the medical college in the professional growth of future nursing specialists.

The main part. This article analyzes the medical, psychological and pedagogical literature on the research topic; abstracting, systematization, comparison and juxtaposition, theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific medical literature data related to the study of the scientific fund were carried out. The Medical College is a secondary innovative special educational institution that implements the main educational professional programs of secondary medical education of basic training and programs of secondary medical education of advanced training. The pedagogical component of the educational environment of the medical college is considered as an effective tool for increasing the productivity of the educational process, professional growth and self-actualization of future nursing specialists, students’ mastery of the components of professional activity in the health care system. Based on the analysis of the regularities and structure of the educational environment and the didactic process in professional education institutions, the priority pedagogical technologies of teaching nursing in the medical college are singled out: motivational, personally oriented, action oriented. It is summarized that the educational environment and social conditions of the college should promote, and not hinder, the professional growth of the personality of future nursing specialists and the realization of their internal potentials.

Conclusions. In general, the focus of the educational environment of the medical college on the formation of professional self-determination and professional growth of future nursing specialists makes it possible to more effectively prepare graduates to overcome the typical difficulties of the profession, to lay the foundation for future professionalism.
