The paper reveals, analyzes and theoretically substantiates, with the help of computer programs, the main speech disorders in patients after resection of the upper jaw and conducts phonetic correction these patients in the context of orthopedic rehabilitation. The purpose of the study is to analyze speech disorders in patients after maxillary resection and to correct speech at the stages of orthopedic rehabilitation. Materials and methods. Phonetic disorders in 39 male and female patients aged 36–61 years after jaw surgery were analyzed. A microphone MD-83 (Ukraine) with appropriate technical parameters was used to record speech. The proposed text was recorded and processed using special programs, and two-dimensional and three-dimensional images of speech spectrograms at the stages of orthopedic rehabilitation were obtained. The results of the study and their discussion. Speech impairment was found depending on the location and localization of postoperative bone defects of the upper jaw and palate. Resection of the upper jaw leads to significant functional disorders, changing both the nature of speech and the duration of pronunciation of individual words. The manufacture of direct prostheses forms the correct articulation of the tongue and other oral resonators. After 30 days of using the prosthesis, a new speech stereotype is formed.
