Abstract

All pathological processes that occur in post-traumatic period directly affect subsequent healing tissues. Traumatic fractures of the facial skeleton represent a significant portion of all traumatic injuries of maxillofacial area. Regeneration process always involves processes of disintegration of damaged cells, formation of intercellular connections and adaptive adjustment regeneration. As a result of direct effects on bone of traumatic agent on periosteum cells undergo morphological and functional changes. Trauma causes bone poor circulation and loss of osteocytes, and significant enzymatic disorders. POL-AOP system plays an important role in the regeneration of bone tissue after crash and development of inflammatory complications. Thus, the correction of the pathogenesis has become an integral part of a comprehensive treatment of patients with fractures of the jaw bones.
