Abstract

The article demonstrates the results of investigation of the relationship between various somatic diseases in children from the polluted areas of Ivano-Frankivsk Region and the occurrence of systemic enamel hypoplasia (SHE). It has been established that despite of xenobiotics, all somatic disorders occur more often in children diagnosed with SHE compared to the residents from conventionally clean areas without SHE. Also, children that were influenced by combined radiation and chemical factors have suffered more from the acute respiratory infection and chronic tonsillitis and children that were affected by oil and gas pollution have suffered more from the digestive disorders. On the other hand, due to organic macromolecular compound chemicals kidney diseases were diagnosed more often. And in those affected by air pollution with coal combustion products occurred diseases of the thyroid gland. We have estimated that on the growth are the chances in development of SHE in contaminated areas in those affected with gastrointestinal tract, frequent respiratory disorders, thyroid gland diseases and chronic tonsillitis, kidney disorders.
