TRANSFORMATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS UNDER MARTIAL LAW: CHALLENGES AND PROSPECTS

The article analyzes the peculiarities of the transformation of the educational process in higher education institutions, in particular medical ones. The key challenges related to security, mobility, and access to digital resources are identified. Particular attention is paid to medical higher education institutions, which faced extremely difficult conditions of functioning. The purpose of the study is to analyze the transformation processes in higher education institutions, in particular medical ones, during martial law and to identify prospects for their further development. The bibliosemantic research method was used to write this article. The literature search was conducted in international (PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar) and Ukrainian resources (V.I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, electronic catalogs of professional publications). The selection of sources was based on the following criteria: publications of the last decade (with the possible inclusion of classical works), relevance of the topic, availability in professional publications, presentation in Ukrainian, English, and other European languages. In addition, regulatory and legal acts were analyzed. The results of the study and their discussion. Digital technologies have become the main tool for ensuring the continuity of education, promoting individualization and mobility, but at the same time exacerbating the problem of digital inequality and psychological overload of students and teachers. Martial law has acted as a catalyst for the digital transformation of higher and medical education institutions, stimulating the active introduction of innovative forms of learning that combine theoretical training and clinical practice. The transformation of the educational process under martial law is a multifaceted phenomenon that requires a combination of digital technologies, pedagogical approaches, and psychological support. It is important to ensure the stability of the education system, adapt to crisis conditions, and develop models that guarantee further development.
