Archiving and Long-Term Preservation Policy

  1. General Principles
    The journal ensures the long-term preservation and unrestricted open access to all published materials. Archiving constitutes an integral part of the journal’s sustainability policy and guarantees the preservation of scholarly outputs for future generations of researchers.

  2. Repositories and Preservation Systems
    • All electronic versions of the journal are stored on the official website with open access.
    • For long-term preservation, copies of issues are deposited in:
    o National Repository of Academic Texts of Ukraine (e-Repository NLU / URIS);
    o V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine.
    • Each article is assigned a unique DOI, ensuring a persistent identifier and stable access.

  3. Technical Means and Storage Formats
    • The journal’s archival files are stored in PDF (for long-term preservation).

  4. Accessibility Guarantees
    • The journal adheres to an Open Access policy: all articles are available free of charge, without time or download limitations.
    • In the event of the journal’s discontinuation, all archived materials will remain openly accessible through institutional and international repositories.
    • The journal ensures that metadata and full-text articles are indexed in leading bibliographic databases and open-access aggregators (Directory of Open Access Journals and Google Scholar).

    The journal’s archiving policy complies with the principles of the PKP Preservation Network, DOAJ Best Practices, and the recommendations of the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association
