Анотація

Мета дослідження. У статті узагальнено сучасні наукові відомості про специфіку хірургічної стоматологічної допомоги особам середнього та похилого віку. Розглянуто морфологічні, системні й поведінкові фактори, що визначають клінічну тактику та прогноз хірургічних втручань у геріатричних пацієнтів. Висвітлено особливості оцінки загального стану й хірургічного ризику, перебіг післяопераційного загоєння, профілактику інфекційних і тромбоемболічних ускладнень, вплив поліфармації на результати лікування. Результати досліджень. Окрему увагу приділено питанням анестезіологічного забезпечення, особливостям екстракції зубів і проведенню імплантації в літніх осіб. Підкреслено необхідність мультидисциплінарного підходу, що включає взаємодію стоматолога, терапевта, кардіолога, ендокринолога та геронтолога. Геріатрична хірургічна стоматологія розглядається як складова стратегії «здорового старіння», орієнтованої не лише на технічне лікування, а й на збереження якості життя пацієнтів.
