It’s an important principle of modern obstetrical anesthesiology to combine several methods of anesthesia using medications with different activity direction. We used three medications intravenously for pain relief during labor: analgesic (Stadol), spasmolytic (No-spa) and Sybason, which has sedative activity. Control of the anesthesia effect was performed by Rasstrigin and Shnaider scales. In 78% of parturient women we received positive anesthesia effect (7-5 points by Rasstrigin and Shnaider scales), in 20% - complete effect was observed (9-7 points). In 2 patients we did not getany effect (5 points).Besides, we assessed duration of labor periods, frequency of uterotonic drugs using and labor performed by Cesarean section.We found decreasing of the first period duration and, finally, the whole labor process, reducing of the Cesarean section frequency in labor, performing under Stadol influence. Stadol utilization promotes normalization of the contractive uterus activity, decrease using of oxytocin in labor process; it could be recommended in case of cervix rigidity and in patients with mental and emotional disorders. Significant reducing of labor trauma was noticed too.
