The object of research was to review the theories of the pelvic endometriosis. Now this illness doesn't lose of actuality and remains the object of discussions. Diversity of theories and conceptions of aetiology and pathogenesis of endometriosis isn't completely able to explain causes and variety of the endometriosis' localization. This overview is directed to the deep analysis of the exists theories of genital endometriosis' origin and has to be the confirmation of the consideration thesis for necessity of subsequent scientific and practical searches in this direction.
