The object of the paper was a study of the efficacy of a topical use of gestagen and levonorgestrel in the form of the levonorgestrel releasing-system to treat uterine flooding in menopausal women. The use of the levonorgestrel-releasing system for the purpose of treating uterine flooding whose substrate is hyperplastic endometrium, becomes very effective and promising, expanding considerably the therapeutic potentials of correcting this particular pathology at the expense of the absence of the systemic action of the acting substance.
