The aim of the study – to reduce the incidence of reproductive health in women who have undergone the ovarian apoplexy, as well as the development and implementation of a set of diagnostic, treatment and preventive and rehabilitation measures.
Materials and Methods. We conducted a retrospective study of the results of treatment of 204 patients with ovarian apoplexy for the period from 2014 to 2017 in the Gynecological Department of the Ternopil City Clinical Hospital No. 2. The share of surgical interventions for apoplexy in the past 3 years was (11.5±0.5) %. In total for the analyzed period, 80 women were operated and 124 – conservatively treated. All patients under study, depending on the treatment method, were divided into 3 groups. The group I included 30 patients who had surgical treatment with laparoscopic access. The group II consisted of 30 patients who were surgically treated with laparotomic access. The group III included 30 patients, who used conservative treatment (hemostatic, infusion, antibacterial, hormonal therapy). The control group consisted of 30 somatic and gynecologically healthy women of reproductive age, who underwent an annual dispensary review.
Results and Discussion. Often in practice it is necessary to decide the question: conservative or operational tactics must be taken in a particular case. Considering the psychological component of decision-making, the threshold for laparoscopy (as a transition from conservative tactics to operative) is much lower than for laparotomy and surgical treatment.
Conclusion. The main risk factors for the development of ovarian apoplexy are uncontrolled abortions (18.0 %); chronic inflammatory processes of the uterus and appendages (20.0 %); a violation of the menstrual function (35.0 %), and gynecological surgery (27.0 %).
