Abstract

Abstract. CTG recordings of 60 pregnants with syphilis (15 untreated and 15 treated) in 37-39 weeks compared to the CTG recordings of 30 healthy pregnants in this term. CTGs of untreated and treated pregnants are characterized by factual decrease of basal frequency heart contractions, monotonic rhythm, decreased amplitude of impact and slow oscillations, decrease of quantity, amplitude and length of acceleration, and presence of spontaneous decelerations. CTGs in syphilis testifies to the chronic fetus hypoxia in untreated and treated women.
