The problem of obstetric and perinatal complications remains one of the most important problems in the present. In addition, the indicators of fetal losses in our country are higher in comparison with the countries of the Commonwealth [1,2]. In recent years, in the structure of the genital and extragenital pathology a special place belongs to various endocrinopathies , the basic version of which is metabolic syndrome (MS). It is characterized by a combination of hyperinsulinemia , primary hypertension, dyslipidemia , obesity and polycystic ovarian changes. These symptoms are often interrelated, they complement and reinforce each other [3,4]. Moreover, pregnant women with metabolic syndrome are at the increased risk of various obstetric and perinatal complications, and current therapeutic and prophylactic measures are not always effective. Metabolic syndrome (MS ) is a multifactorial clinical condition caused by the complex of genetic, hemodynamic, neurohormonal characteristics and the way of the person's life, which is revealed by the complex of the pathogenesis of violations in tissue sensitivity to insulin , carbohydrate, lipid, purine metabolism as well as in abdominal obesity and hypertension. According to different authors , the frequency of metabolic syndrome continues to grow and now it constitutes 5 to 20%. Despite the impressive number of publications on the problem of obstetric and perinatal pathology in women with somatic disease , it cannot be considered to be completely solved , especially in terms of efficiency of treatment and prevention of it in women at high risk as well as in patients with MS.
