Abstract

Mucopolysaccharidoses - a group of metabolic diseases of the connective tissue associated with metabolic disorders of acid glycosaminoglycans (GAG, mucopolysaccharides) caused by deficiency of lysosomal enzymes exchange glycosaminoglycans. Prevention mucopolysaccharidoses - prenatal diagnosis based on direct determination of enzyme deficiency in amniotic cells.
