Abstract

This article presents the results of the lactulose hydrogen breath test in children with gastroduodenal pathology. Changes in motility and intestinal microflora were revealed in these patients, that depended on the character of gastroduodenal pathology (inflammation, reflux or both). The term of lactulose breath test was grounded for bowel assessment in children with gastroduodenal pathology and for development of therapeutic and preventive measures.
