VIEWS OF A REPRODUCTOLOGIST ON UTERINE LEIOMYOMA (LITERATURE REVIEW)

The aim of the study – to review the scientific literature to determine the effect of morphogenesis and localization of leiomyomas on a woman's reproductive function.
Materials and Methods. To analyze the current domestic and foreign literature, which is devoted to the characterization of the influence of uterine leiomyoma on the condition of the reproductive system of a woman.
Results and Discussion. During the study, 21 literature sources were analyzed regarding the effect of leiomyoma on a woman's reproductive function.
Conclusions. Today, uterine leiomyoma is a common pathology in women of reproductive age. Treatment of uterine leiomyoma in women of reproductive age should include the following priorities: development of an individual approach to the planning of conservative and surgical treatment methods, preference for organ-preserving methods of surgical treatment, prediction of the possible consequences of any treatment method, determination of duration and maintenance period implementation of the reproductive function of a woman.
