LAME CHILD, THE MAIN ASPECT OF CHILDREN’S ORTHOPEDICS

Disorders of the walking is one of the first manifestations of diseases of the musculoskeletal system, with which not only orthopedists, surgeons, but also therapists and doctors of general practice deal with. Despite the successes of the general orthopedics and the development of the general practitioner, the root cause of treatment are unsatisfactory. This is due to the peculiarities of the structure of the child and the interpretation of the subjective, objective data of the examination, the late diagnosis of the diseases. Discussions are ongoing, treatment and classification of the skeletal system of children. Issues of early diagnosis, including the treatment of benign and malignant bone tumors, also remain relevant. Therefore, the aim of this work is to analyze modern literature regarding the correct assessment of walking disorders using modern diagnostic achievements. A modern and promising area of diagnosis is the development of early disease markers based on genetics, immunology, and biochemistry. The dominant methods of examining children remain ultrasound, MRI, radiography.
