Abstract

We examined 206 patiens with stable angina pectoris, of wоmеn 90 (43,7%),  men 116 (56.3%), had an average age of 59,5±11.1 years. According to the results of the study, asymptomatic hyperuricemia(AHU) was revealed in 44% of patiens with  coronary artery disease and positive correlation was found with the metabolic syndrome (MS), which confirms the role of AHU in the development of cardiovascular risk and requires preventive correction with uricosuric drugs.
