SUMMARY. In 65 patients with varicose disease lower limbs research of markers of endothelial dysfunction (ED)
before operation, after operation (10 days) and in long-term (60 days) the postoperative period was made. It was
established the increase of markers of (ED) as before surgery and in the postoperative period. Morphological study of
the deep veins of the lower limbs determined that the cause of (ED) may be significant changes in the structure of all the
layers of the wall of the vein, especially endotelial layer.
KEY WORDS: varicose disease, endothelial dysfunction, morphological research.
