PROGRAM OF COMPREHENSIVE DIAGNOSTIC, TREATMENT AND REHABILITATION OF PARTICIPANTS OF COMBAT ACTIONS WITH NON-PSYCHOTIC MENTAL DISORDERS WHO TRANSMITTED THE DISEASE TO COVID-19

SUMMARY. The aim – to develop a comprehensive program of treatment and rehabilitation measures for this category of patients on the basis of the data of a comprehensive examination of combatants with signs of NPR, who suffered from the coronavirus disease.
Material and Methods. clinical and psychodiagnostic examination of 132 combatants with non-psychotic mental disorders, who were not sick, and 120 – who were sick with COVID-19. A comparative analysis of the effectiveness of traditional therapy was conducted in 126 combatants with non-psychotic mental disorders who did not have COVID-19 and 56 combatants with non-psychotic mental disorders who had COVID-19, with the proposed treatment of 57 combatants with non-psychotic mental disorders who were ill with COVID-19.
Results. The transmitted disease of COVID-19 in combatants with non-psychotic mental disorders worsens the condition of the affective, cognitive and behavioral spheres, which is manifested by polymorphic psychopathological symptoms, which are based on anxiety-depressive and post-traumatic disorders. The proposed complex program of treatment and rehabilitation measures aimed at correcting the affective, cognitive and behavioral spheres and restoring social functioning, the structural components of which are pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy and psychoeducation, contributes to the normalization of the psycho-emotional sphere, cognitive functioning and social adaptation of combatants with non-psychotic mental disorders who have transferred the disease to COVID-19. Catamnetic studies conducted within 6–12 months confirmed the stability of the obtained therapeutic effect.
Conclusions. Improvement of the existing scheme of psychiatric treatment of combatants with non-psychotic mental disorders, who have suffered from COVID-19, allows to achieve significantly better clinical results, which gives reasons to recommend it for implementation in health care practice.
