SUMMARY. The aim – to increase the effectiveness of treatment of patients with neurogenic urinary disorders.
Material and Methods. A total of 56 patients with neurogenic urinary disorders were examined. The functional state of the detrusor, internal sphincter of the urinary bladder, external sphincter of the urethra was determined using electromyographic studies. Electrical stimulation of the bladder was carried out according to a stimulating technique with a frequency of 70 Hz, modulation 100 %, sending-pause 4–6 seconds, for 15 minutes, a course of 2 weeks.
Results. It was established that electromyography reflects the functional state of the urinary tract. The appointment of electrical stimulation made it possible to achieve reliable positive dynamics in the clinical and functional state of patients.
Conclusions. Treatment of patients with neurogenic urinary disorders with electrical stimulation is effective.
