The aim of the work – to analyze the perspective and possibilities of diagnostics of endometrial hyperplastic processes (EHP) in women of childbearing age using domestic and foreign literature.
Material and Methods. The study used bibliosystematic and analytical methods. During the study, 37 sources of contemporary and foreign literature were analyzed for methods and novelty of diagnosis of EHP.
Results. Endometrial pathology is diagnosed during a self-referral to an ultrasound physician, while subsequent pathohistological examination often reveals the presence of endometrial hyperplasia. Treatment, which is aimed at inhibiting proliferative processes in the endometrium, is currently prescribed by the doctor, taking into account his own experience, the material capabilities of the patient, the possible side effects. But it is difficult to predict how effective therapeutic tactics will be. Some researchers report that after a course of hormone therapy, 45 % of process recurrences are observed in the treatment of EHP. The analysis of the literature review indicates the urgency of the problem of urogenital infection as an etiological factor, which requires further more in-depth study of its prevalence, etiology and pathogenesis, as well as features of clinical manifestations and course.
Conclusions. A further in-depth study of the prevalence and spectrum of clinical manifestations of genital viral infection, as well as the pathogenetic mechanisms of long-term persistence of HPV in the body, will help to develop improved combined approaches to treating EHP, including new ones.
